Leaving Cert History Tour

On the 18th of April last students from Athboy Community School accompanied by Mr. Maxwell and Ms. Murtagh took part in a History trip to Dublin. The students visited Collins Barracks where they received a guided tour of the 'Recovered Voices; Stories of the Irish at War, 1914-1915' exhibition. The group then partook in a walking tour of the main city centre sites associated with the 1916 Rising. An enjoyable educational experience was had by all.
